Talk to us about a project that supports social mobility and connecting young people to employment or training. We deliver results.

Social mobility projects

We are experts at running projects and services that connect young people with employment and training.

We pride ourselves on our ability to find new ways of working and use technology to get results. We always go the extra mile to help our clients to exceed their objectives and delivery targets.

If you want to subcontract delivery, find learners or employers interested in your training provision, or help particular groups of young people back into work then we’d love to discuss your project with you.

Projects, commissions and subcontracting opportunties that we support

1

Employability support

We help prime contractors by delivering employability support programmes or SWAPs that help NEETs move on to apprenticeships, traineeships, further education, or work.

2

Employer engagement

We help apprenticeship and traineeship providers to reach employers that want to offer young people great jobs with training.

3

SSW support

We help primes to deliver Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) programmes, helping junior staff settle into work, upskill and realise their potential.

4

Resources and guides

We create guides, quizzes, websites and factsheets for clients that want to explain work-based learning programmes easily to employers or young people.

5

Flexi-apprenticeships

We help you to apply for and run a flexi-job apprenticeship agency that helps more employers to offer apprenticeships. Support ranges from recruitment through to payroll, HR and pastoral care.

6

Consultancy

We provide expert advice and project management support to like minded organisations that are looking to deliver impactful services that support social mobility.

Why not give us a call to tell us about your project?

If we think we can help, we’ll say so. If not, we’ll signpost you to other organisations that we think would be a great partner for you.

Some of our projects

T Level industry placement engagement – DfE

The Department for Education has recently commissioned Supplytrain to support small and medium size businesses to offer T Level industry placements. We market to employers, explain how industry placements work and signpost them to the most appropriate T Level provider in their area. Details coming soon.

Flexi-job apprenticeship agency – MYCCI

Supplytrain is running a Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency (FJAA) pilot in partnership with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MYCCI). We are testing a service in Yorkshire, for the Department for Education, that makes it easier for businesses to offer apprenticeships. Visit chamber talent for details.

Kickstart consultancy and  gateway set up – various partners

Supplytrain ran the largest Kickstart gateway in the South-East, yet our work supporting social mobility through Kickstart jobs didn’t stop there. We also provided set up support to help other Kickstart gateways deliver. Partners included Social Enterprise Kent, Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce and West London Business.

Apprenticeship portal – Salisbury Chamber of Commerce

Apprenticeships in Salisbury is a web-portal developed by Supplytrain. Unlike the Find an Apprenticeship Service – that shows a snapshop in time of current vacancies – the portal allows young people to see all the businesses that offer apprenticeships annually in their town, and know when and where to apply.

Skills Support for the Unemployed – DWP

Supplytrain support training providers to deliver Skills Support for the Unemployed (SSU) programmes. We work with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to setup Sector-based Work Academies Programmes (SWAPs) and provide employers that will offer a guaranteed interview. Contact us for further details.

Apprenticeship toolkits – Local Enteprise Networks (LEPs)

Supplytrain was commissioned through SDN to write the content for Apprenticeship Toolkits. These toolkits were localised for 22 LEPs in England to help local businesses understand the business and social mobility benefits of offering apprenticeships.
