Our projects and partnership work
Industry placement engagement
We connect employers that want to offer industry placements, to schools and colleges, on a commercial basis!
T Level industry placement engagement – DfE
Supplytrain was an official T Level Growth Partner for the Department for Education (DfE), where we referred over 650 T Level Business and Management placement opportunities to schools and colleges over an 18 month period. We now use this experience to provide outsourced employer engagement and support services across all T Level routes. The support fills placements and keep employers engaged.
‘White label’ FJAA services
We provide white-labelled Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency (FJAA) services for trade associations and business groups to give your employers a simpler way to recruit and develop apprentices.
‘White label’ Flexi-job apprenticeship agency – MYCCI
We provide white-labelled Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agencies (FJAA) services for trade associations and business groups to give your employers a simpler way to recruit and develop apprentices.
Supplytrain ran a white-labelled Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency (FJAA) service for the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MYCCI) members. Through our customised CRM we provide a streamlined recruitment and apprentice employment service with bespoke terms, branding and reports for our partners.
Content and resource development
We create content and resources for skills stakeholders that increase the interest of employers in offering work-based learning.
Websites, guides, blogs, scripts, case studies and much more…
Content that engages employers – SDN
Our Managing Director, Phil Golding, is a Strategic Associate for SDN. In this role, Supplytrain has developed a plethora of content and resources for SDN’s contracts, including: creating DfE resources aimed at helping employer engagement staff increase industry placements, writing case studies for Gatsby Foundation’s Education Landscape campaign, creating and managing the production of 22 Apprenticeship Toolkits for Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) across England and writing a Practical Guide to Apprenticeships for ScreenSkills.
Managing local skills partnerships
We support councils and regional partnerships to manage and coordinate the local apprentice and graduate offer, so that it’s simple to understand and engaging for pupils, parents and employers.
Local skills partnership – Apprenticeships in Salisbury
Apprenticeships in Salisbury is a portal created to signpost young people to the local apprenticeship offer in the city of Salisbury. Unlike the Find an Apprenticeship Service – that shows a snapshop in time of current vacancies – the portal allows young people to see all the businesses that offer apprenticeships annually in their town, and know when and where to apply. We also manage the Salisbury Apprenticeship Fair each year, bringing 1,000 15-16 year olds to two colleges to meet the variety of apprentice employers across the region.
Admin services for skills sector
We provide outsourced customer service, admin and communication services for the skills sector. Keeping your stakeholders engaged in apprenticeships and skills.
Admin support for apprentice ambassadors – SEAAN
Phil Golding is the Coordinator for the South-East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (SEAAN) allowing Supplytrain to welcome new ambassadors to the network, communicate apprenticeship news across the region, oversee quarterly webinars, adminster grant funding, manage social media channels and support ambassadors with adhoc queries.
Employability and careers support
We work with prime providers to deliver employability, skills bootcamp and careers services that gets people into work or onto the next stage of their career. This work often involves our links with employers.
Kickstart Employability and careers support – DWP
Supplytrain provided Kickstart Scheme services to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Not only did we place 900 young people into work, but delivered all the employability support through monthly careers coaching sessions. This support helped every individual start, sustain and succeed in their placement, with the vast majority completing and moving into sustainable employment. We were awarded the SME Recognition Award by the DWP at the National Kickstart Awards for our service.
We are a social enterprise that helps employers to create fairer routes into work.
