      Who is the scheme for?

Businesses the pilot is open to:

      – SMEs based in West Yorkshire

      – Employers in any sector with genuine entry-level opportunities

      – Businesses committed to providing supportive, inclusive workplaces

Participants the pilot is open to:

Funding is ring fenced to care-experienced young people aged 18-24, referred through trusted local partners. All participants will be vetted, motivated and ready to work, having been assessed by Supplytrain’s team – who understand their support needs and potential.

These young people are eager to prove themselves and, with the right guidance, can thrive in an apprenticeship role while adding real value to your business.

      How it works.

      1. Submit your interest:

Complete a short form and we will arrange a quick call to learn more about your business and confirm eligibility.

      2. Discover and prepare:

On the call, we will find out what kind of roles you can offer and what support you might need. If your business is a good fit, we will add you to a pool of suitable employers ready to be matched with young people who are interested in your apprenticeship. This helps us make sure every placement is the right match for both you and the participant.

      3. 10-week pre-apprenticeship period:

The participant works 16 hours a week, fully funded. You provide real work while Supplytrain handles employment, payroll and HR issues. We are on hand to help you every step of the way.

      4. Progress to apprenticeship:

At the end of 10 weeks, with participants bedded in, you decide if you wish to convert the opportunity into an apprenticeship at 30+ hours. Further funding of £4,000 is available to support this progression.

      Simple. Supported. Risk free.
